Members are not allowed to vote but are required to volunteer for a period of at least 6 months either physically or remotely, or both to be recommended and considered for a membership upgrade. All non-voting members are key actors and stakeholders in all decision-making processes, and can freely make contributions to the general board as any other member.

As a Non-Voting Member, you enjoy equal access to opportunities and decision making as any other member; given your inputs to the community. At the CYVIp we believe in equality and respect, but nevertheless, you must complete at least six months of community service in one or more programs to be eligible for a membership upgrade.
